Schedule: Monday–Friday (No evenings or weekends)

Position Summary

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Equipment Specialist as the primary resource for our equipment division. This role combines equipment expertise, customer support, inventory management, warranty coordination, and dealer relations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with equipment, solving technical problems, and helping customers identify the right solutions for their applications.

This position focuses on Vermeer, Woods, and Pro Driver equipment and is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, agricultural experience, and a strong interest in equipment systems and operations. While customer interaction is an important part of the role, success is driven by product knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to excellent service.


Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the in-house expert for Vermeer, Woods, and Pro Driver equipment lines

• Assist customers in selecting equipment, attachments, and parts based on operational needs

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical support to customers and staff

• Process and manage warranty claims and related documentation

• Maintain relationships with manufacturers and dealer representatives

• Manage equipment, parts, and accessory inventory

• Coordinate parts ordering and vendor communications

• Perform basic equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs

• Communicate equipment features, operating procedures, and safety information

• Maintain showroom displays, equipment listings, and online inventory information

• Support process improvements and contribute to overall department growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Mechanical, agricultural, construction, or equipment-related experience preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and identify practical solutions

• Experience with equipment sales, parts, service, warranty administration, or equipment repair is a plus

• Familiarity with farm equipment, tractors, implements, skid loaders, or similar machinery preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly

• Self-motivated with excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities

• Comfortable learning new technologies, software systems, and manufacturer programs

• Welding, fabrication, or hands-on equipment repair experience is beneficial but not required


Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 100 lbs and work in variable conditions
  • Use of hand and power tools
  • Alternate between sitting, standing, lifting, and moving throughout the day
  • Occasional travel as needed

 

Compensation

$50,000. - $80,000. per year
